Braxton Hicks ?

Ftm and not sure if I'm having Braxton hicks or real contractions, not really timing it so can't tell how far apart, the pain comes and goes. Feels like a tighten band around abdomen. Has me uncomfortable.

I have a friend who was in 5 weeks ago with the same issue.  Got the shot. She hasn't had an issue since. She is 32 weeks now.

Currently in the hospital, was told that my cervix is thinning out only 29 weeks I'll be 30 tomorrow... they gave me a steroid shot to help my babys lungs mature, really worried I don't want her to come out so soon :/

It sounds like Braxton hicks, but if you have 6 or more for at least 40 seconds within an hour. I would call in and got checked, I'm 32 n just got a shot because it was actually 1 min long contractions, and I was showing signs of preterm labor.

Drink a large glass of water and lay on your side, if they ease up, it would be braxton hicks. That's one method I was told. It sounds like traditional braxton hicks though.
