Pelvic Girdle Pain

I was told I had sciatica during my last pregnancy and assumed I had it again for this one (lucky me, the pain started earlier for this one). I was looking online and discovered that I actually have Pelvic Girdle Pain. It's often misdiagnosed, yippie! I have been having excruciating pain by the end of the night and I have not been able to find much relief... Is anyone else experiencing this? What do you do for relief? I'm only 18 weeks and have a tiny bump. I'm scared for when I get bigger! I can't imagine it getting worse but I'm afraid it will.

It did but it didn't.  I found it a pain to deal with. I wore it for about a month before I just kept it off and dealt with it other ways.

Did the belt work for you the first time? My doc had mentioned getting me one at my last appointment 2 weeks ago so I'm looking forward to talking to him about it at my 20 week appointment. My husband wants me to call in before my appointment to get it sooner. If it works I might actually do that!

Yes!!!!! It's my 2nd as well. They made me a belt to wear with my first but it's not helping this time. My body adjusted...imagine that. I've been doing sciatic stretches which helps a bit, but not completely.  I also have our hot tub set at 99 degrees and have been told I am ok to spend 15 min out in it. Other than that, I sometimes have my husband put tiger balm on my lower back and midle back and outside of my thigh. Just make sure you don't put it somewhere too flabby as it will hurt (experience ).
