Im high risk due to being diabetic. Everything seemed to be going great but a few days ago my OB called me into his office to tell me I had high AFP levels so my baby is at an increased risk of having spina bifida. I go for a level 2 ultrasound on Monday to find out for sure. Praying all is well with my little babe.

I'm due march 17th. I am high risk for preterm labor. I start my progesterone shots this week. If I make it to 36 weeks I will  be delivered then via c section since Dr's do not want me going into labor due to the fact that I have a classical incision from my last emergency c section.  Also as of right now my placenta is anterior.  If it doesn't  move by delivery it will make for a more risky  c section.  This is my 3rd pregnancy.  First was  born at 38 weeks 2nd was at 25 weeks. Here's hoping the shots work and I can carry till 36 weeks.  I'm at 16 weeks right now
