D/A Update

Well, today was my 34 week appointment.  I go weekly and have a NST done.  3 weeks ago my bp went up so doc prescribed meds.  Well, that next visit it was normal and then the week after and today it was high.  So, doc said next visit (next week), we'll do NST, check me and u/s.  I was so excited because I'm not supposed to get another u/s.  But, then reality kicked in...they want an estimate of how big Reece is because if bp doesn't cooperate they are going to take him.  Hopefully, the increased dose will help and my bp will level out...

Thanks!  BP is a scary thing and like KylesMom said, it's amazing how emotions can change in the blink of an eye.

Like I was telling my doctor, after 2 m/c's this pregnancy has been great.  I haven't had any problems except this now.  So, really I shouldn't complain and I should thank God that he let me get this far.  I'm on the home stretch now and like Keisha said, 35 weeks isn't that bad.  And with BP, you can help them outside rather than leaving them in and guessing on the inside.

The good part is at 35 weeks, he will be ok, try not to worry too much. Like my Dr. told me today if we take her out she might have a day or 2 in NICU, tops a week, but if we leave her in you never know about next week. The bad thing with B/P is we don't realize how much it can actually affect the baby, SO get rest try to relax, I know how hard it is, I have been worthless for over 2 weeks now, but Like DH said my most important job was her right now he can handle all the rest. So take advantage kick your feet up, and try to enjoy some Reece bonding time! Good luck sweetie!

I amazing how you can go from being excited about something to scared to death in a heartbeat when it comes to these little ones!!  I hope for you and Reece both that your blood pressure goes down so that he can stay in there a little longer!  I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers until you know more!!
