Dr on call not helping :(

She said it was up to me to go in to L&D. Im having tightning in my abdomen with lower back pain and my thighs in my pelvic area feel bruised. She said I was having contractions but would leave it up to me on whether or not to go in.

Im so confused >_<

Just left L&D - contractions are consistent but 10 mins apart :( Still just 2cm dilated. They hooked me up to two bags of IV fluid and did an ultrasound to just check his activity. Everything checked out fine. But they're predicting he will be here over the weekend if the contractions keep up. I betting I'll be getting induced instead. :'(

I cant really time them but took a rough guess that they were about 10mins apart. An hour passed and theyve gotten more intense. Im extremely irritable right now because of the pain but picked hubby up and hes punching 80 to get me to the ER. Im just gritting my teeth through the painful ones right now.

Best thing to do is time them....if they are close and consistent like 5-7 min apart for an hour then go in :) good luck
