meltdown :(

I am having a meltdown thinking about having to leave baby Trace here in the nicu and seeing him hooked up to tubes and not being able to hold him...its getting hard not knowing how he is going to be. Plus its even harder that i am on 24/7 bed rest and can only get up to potty and I'm an hour away from my husband who works so he can't come see me until sunday....sorry for the vent, its just all hitting me that I'm about to have my baby boy this comiNg week and i have no clue what to expect

I know the unknown can be very scary but I'm sure everything will be okay. Medicine can work miracles when needed to so even if he's not 100% ready to be here he will be just fine. Its great that they have a Ronald McDonald House you can stay at if he needs to stay in the NICU. My sister-in-law and her husband have stayed many nights at the Ronald McDonald House over the last 5 months and they say how wonderful people have been to them.

That's good news!! I just think his chunky butt won't be there long!!! Prayin for strong lungs, temp regulation and sucking a bottle/nipple!! Those are the three main things this early :) usually it's only 1 or 2 the three! Sometimes none!!

I think he will be okay. I'm telling u I'm not gonna make it either but no ones listening. I'm so ill I can't stand it. I know trace is a good weight and he will be fine. Just don't worry about him and you try to stay calm and keep ur blood pressure down. I had a girl tell me she had her baby at 32 weeks 4 pounds 2 ounces and was in the nicu 12 days just to get her to regulate her own body temp. We are both 4 days past that and every 24 hours inside the womb is great for baby.

Awww!!. Dnt feel bad.. U and him will be fine. I know it's hard to leave ur bby in the hospital but U have to be strong. I have a few friends that theyre babys had to be in the nicu too but it's for their own good. And ur bby will be healthy and well checked while he's in there.. Cheer up mama dnt be sad.
