washing baby clothes

is it absolutely necessary?how many of u already washed and put away ur baby clothes?im bit confused weather to wash all of mine or not.

I've washed and put everything away with dreft bc with my Daughter I used purex baby n my daughter broke out bad bc of scent ... but I definitely agree every thing should be washed

Yes! Deff don't put the fluffy/ fleece stuff in the dryer! It will make it look and feel matted up :/

For the fluffy or fleece clothes and blankets wash them in cold and after you wash them hang them or lay them flat to dry. That will help keep them soft.

Oh glad this post was here av only washed her hospital clothes I was thinkin she would b fine after tht, I better wash everything else!

I'v washed half of them,all the white vests,blankets etc..its just the soft pretty fleece ones that I dont have the heart to throw in water lol,but I know what u ladies mean,definitely going to get round to those too now

Washing baby's clothes for Mr goes without saying and even adults clothes before wearing them. I agree with the above post and remember these clothes are mass produced in factories with many different hands going through them. While they look clean they are dirty.

I haven't yet but I will be washing everything before she wears it. Most clothes have a chemical on them used to keep bugs away when in storage and shipping and babies have sensitive skin.
