I really want my baby boy to come before my due date for 2 reasons. One, next weekend all of my aunts will be in town for the first time in like a few years! I want them to meet my baby boy since its very rare to have them all here at once. Two, my due date is my MIL's birthday and I don't want him to share his birthday, I want him to have his own special day. I share a birthday with my dad and my brothers birthday is the day after. its cool I guess but it stinks not ever having your own day. Also if I don't have my little man before my due date my MIL is going to "take me on a drive" to try to bounce me into labor and I REALLY don't want to since she'll probably be drinking.

Don't feel rushed! And you don't have to go on a ride to bounce you into labor with a woman who has been drinking, no matter who she is ! You can plan to be induced in time for the aunts' visit as long as you are far enough along and your doc is cool with it. Plus you get to choose the baby's birthday sort of. It's always better and easier on you if let baby come on their own, but I get the impatience. 3 days til my due date and no signs yet
