Ultra sounds
I'm 30 weeks and ive only had two ultra sounds. Is that normal? One when I found out I was pregnant at about 8 weeks and the other at about 16 weeks to find out the gender. I asked my doctor if I was going to have any more and she said no unless somethings wrong.
That is good news, I had to get several because my baby was turning a lot. But you should not have more than two, my doctors said the same. My doctors also said that extra ultrasounds may not be necessarily good for the baby. I had to have five and will probably need one more because my son is measuring on the bigger side.
That's what my doctor told me also. She would only do another if something is wrong. I'll be getting a 3D ultrasound tomorrow which I'm paying for. So I can see baby again. My last one was at 20wks I am now 30wks.
That's typical. I had the same two. They only do one later if they suspect something is abnormal. Sometimes you can go to an ultrasound studio and get one but you pay out of pocket.
