We have a rock n play sleeper that I keep near my bed side for bub. He seems to like it alot better than his basinet, it sits at a small incline instead of completely flat and I'm not comfortable having him co sleep in bed with me. And is just an arms reach away. I can sit up at night and check his breathing and lay back down without getting out of bed. I read that having your baby sleep in the same room as you can reduce the risk of sids along with having a fan to circulate the air in the room and breastfeeding. Are you a ftm? Just remember these days are golden, it won't last forever.
Try Co sleeping so you can both get some rest. It may not be your long term ideal, but she spent nine months listen to your heart, it makes sense that she would sleep better next to you.
