I would also check into pyloric stenosis. My doctor thought my little girl might have it and she had to have an ultrasound. It's fairly common in newborns
Have her checked for pyloric stenosis. That sounds exactly like what I went through with my son. Took the doctors a month to catch it. He had a surgery to fix it and after the surgery he didn't throw up anymore.
I actually don't know if they have it there or not? I'm currently using WIC because it's close to $50 a can!! I can't afford that right now, but I'd definitely ask your baby's doctor about it.. it's amino-acid based, which is easier for babies to break down.. usually if they have an allergy or some sort of digestive issue. hopefully our sweet boy will grow out of whatever he had going on, and we think maybe he already has! I wish you luck.. keep me updated!! ((:
Thanks. Do you just get it from
Walmart?
oh, btw.. he's 7 months + 9 days & he's doing amazing.. EleCare is amazing. he even had a barium enema & saw a specialist in the past because we truly feared he had a tummy problem.. apparently it was just the formula. he's eating foods amazingly now.. squash, green beans, peas, pear, apples, etc. I know it's painful. I watched him suffer for way too long, but I promise it won't last forever. ((:
my son was having the OPPOSITE problems, but maybe my advice will help?
he had horrible gas, trouble pooping, etc. we tried all of the gerber.. soy.. gentlease.. soothe.. sensitive.. etc.
anyways, we finally tried EleCare (our 7th formula!!!) & it's been a MIRACLE!! he's been on it since he was about 2 & 1/2 months old, and everything is perfectly normal! ask your doctor about it.. good luck, and congrats! ((:
I have tried similac sensitive and soy and the Enfamil gentlease. All no good.
