ftm pregnant on mothers day

Mother's day is on may 10th. I'm not due till may 18th. I was wondering if I should celebrate mother's day even if my baby won't be here for another week. I've seen where people went both ways on this. Some people think pregnant ftms don't deserve it. Some do since they've carried the baby so long and are technically mothers. When I go to my appointments I'm called a mom. But I just don't feel like I've earned that title yet. My husband feels like we should still celebrate. What do y'all think?

Definitely celebrate! You're a mom, you've worked hard to carry that baby, and you deserve to be excited about your new title. Go for it!

At our antenatal class the midwife told us to celebrate it. Let your hubby spoil you, just bask in it!
