I'm sorry your having so many contractions!! I had a ton of bh contractions with my 1st dd. They did the fetal fibronectin (sp?) test on me and it came back positive so they put me on bedrest until it was safe for me to deliver. I delievered at 37 weeks. Hope yours comes back neg and your able to take it easy! :o)
Unfortunately due to my last pregnancy, I'm on the weekly ultrasound route...UGH...but an ultrasound won't check to see if you are dialated or effaced. I'm praying that this baby cooks awhile longer. I'm 25 weeks and they are inducing me Nov. 24 which is in 14 weeks (if I make it that long!) since my 3 1/2 year old has delays and we have no family in town so I need a little help when I go in. I'm praying I make it until then so it all works out with help for my little guy. Otherwise, I'm not sure what we'll do. My hubby just won't be able to be at the hospital as not many know how to tube feed, use the nebulizer, etc. Hopefully you have not progressed anymore either! Good luck!
About 5 weeks ago I had to be checked and my cervix was really soft, but long and shut tight so she didnt bother with doing the fetal protien test, I get a u/s Tuesday to check everything out Hopefully I havent progressed any further than that
I'm calling today to get the test results back. I had preterm labor with my son and had to be hospitalized and on magnesium sulfate at 32 weeks and I still hadn't thinned or softened so this makes me nervous. I'm worried they are going to say bed rest if the test comes back positive. AHHH.... I've had braxtonhicks a TON. We walked around the block last night and I had 6 contractions in those about 9 minutes. They stop when I get home and sit down but man...I didn't have this with my other two and I'm not overweight. I'm 25 weeks and weighed 143 yesterday at the doc. so it's not like I'm carrying a bunch of weight around. Hopefully all will be fine today!
I have some braxton hicks contractions, and sometimes my belly hurts because it seems like its pushing down. I don't know if that's normal too but im 28 weeks tomowrow. Hopefully your going to be ok, take care..
take it easy.....for at least 5 or 6 wks of more cook time.....and keep us updated!!!
