Oh I guess what the other ladie said about drinking more water I guess maybe thats a way that helps her copping with it maybe its just what happens to help, if you can find ways to avoid the pain so much try some things like sometimes they come randomly but if Im walking when I go sit down I feel so much better
Okay if you have cramping and they arnt that long there is nothing to worry about you will just have to put up with the stupid pain, but Im sure its going to be nothing like labour...thats scary to think about lol. I had really BAD cramps when I first got pregnant at about 8 weeks, now Im 21 weeks sometimes I get them but they arnt often. Research says its just the pressure from your uterus on everything below and your body isnt use to your uterus being there expanding. AmyK08 I havent researched or heard anything about dehydrations, just what I have just said..If you feel thirsty dehydration then you should drink more, sorry if I couldnt help more with that like I said this is what I have researched and seen about the cramps only. They are a pain and like I said I still get them but not for long, if you have them for a very long time at a time you should talk to your doctor right away or if its so bad that you cant handle it you should talk to a nurse and/or go to a hospital right away. Good luck with you ladies
Im so glad I found this post... today i was freaking out bc I totally felt like I was going to start my period today!! my cramps were sooo bad! I am 18 weeks now and I just thought that they were round ligament pains?? Could this be dehydration as well?
My Dr. tells me at every visit that it is normal---it is your uterus stretching.
My girlfriend had that issue and increased her water intake and it did go away some. I get a weird "pulling" sensation down there. I can only assume is my uterus growing. My Doc and I kind of laughed together when I described it and he agreed with me. They grow so fast he said that you kind of have to expand quickly and thats when it can get uncomfortable. Yeah fun with our babies! :-)
I have experienced the samething. I was told it could just be everything stretching but also that I am probably not drinking enough and it is dehydration. Make sure you drink plenty of water and also some gatorade for the electrolytes.
