18 weeks and bleeding

Hi, Im 18 weeks pregnant and today had some browny/pinky spotting, I will see dr tomorrow but just wondered if anyone else had had this? It's very worrying but I dont have any other symptoms apart from alot of discharge over the last few weeks.

Thanks. I went to hospital today they done an ultrasound and im a bit confused as they  said the bleeding was coming from the placenta, I thought this would be serious but they have let me out on the understanding to return immediatly if it starts again. The bleeding seems to have stopped the now.

I haven't had this happen to me, but a friend of mine started bleeding at 15 weeks.  She went to the doctor and everything seemed fine after a sonogram was done, so my friend was placed on very light duty (can't pick up anything heavier than a gallon of milk and can't go up stairs).  It's now a couple of weeks later and everything seems to be okay.  

Good luck at the doctor's and let us know how everything goes.
