Lol. I took 3 at home tests & made the doc give me one. I couldn't convince myself that I was pregnant! I too was scared to tell my mom. I called her & said mom, are you sitting down? Then told get the news. She took it incredibly well. I believe she was more excited than I was at the moment! I'm sure your mom will take the news better than you think, after all it is a blessing. (:
Im 18 n im in the exact same situation....yur not alone i cant give much advice b.c. Im not sure what to do either but i was doing research and there are places free of charge that help pregnant women with no where to go and after the baby is born yu can stay up to 2 years n still work n go to school but im just as lost as yu are....good luck though
I'm sorta in the same boat Hun. I'm 6weeks, 20years old and plan on telling my mom tomorrow night when I have her over for dinner. I think it would be a good idea to not just flat out tell her if you think it maynot go so well, so maybe be creative.. I make jewelry so I stamped "great mothers get promoted to grandmothers " on a metal pendant. But you can make a card with that saying or put it in a picture frame. Also if you are going to have an ultrasound maybe make that part of it? Just some non traditional ideas. I hope all is well Hun!
Your mum might surprise u and be really helpful and supportive, I was 19 with my first and my mum was real shocked but after the talk she was happy and excited about being a grandma. Good luck and congratulations!! Xx
Hi im 21 tomorrow had same dilema last week. 5 wks 1 day today :-) I was afraid to tell family but did and their supportive, if not your mum then someone will. That baby will be totally worth all the worry! Ive only known a week and nothing else matters to me except this tiny blip. Congrats and let me know how it goes Xo
