Ugh! talk about worry

Hi, im 39 weeks now and I have been at 1cm the past 3 weeks, I have more pain then I can handle, contractions stronger then anything and no change.. ive gone in to the hospital 4 times since 37 weeks and they dont keep me. I am very lucky lately if I can keep down food or liquids, and moving makes me want to cry. I tried everything my doctor told me too to get myself going with no luck as well... she talked about inducing or sweep of the membranes... inducing with any type of medicine is last minute as we want to do a waterbirth.. but my questions does a membrane sweep hurt? And is there any bad effects of inducing? Im ready to have her now and she seemed ready to come 4 times already

^^ That's awesome! I wanted to name my daughter (if i ever had one) Harley Quinn and my boyfriend is totally okay with it but I'm torn between Harley and Echo. I love the name Echo so i might just go with it. I suggested we name our son Bruce Wayne and he said no so we're naming him Sylas which i like a whole lot better than Bruce haha

I was induced at 39 weeks i got the epidural when i was 4.5cm after that everything was easier. Just there waiting for my boy to come. The whole process took me 14 hours. My 2nd boy all natural took more than 24 hours. So i think my induction was ok. Not like the horribles stories you may read on here.

How long was your labor? Hope it goes fast and well.. did you have pain relief.. i didnt get an exact time so if they dont call me i have to call them tomorrow morning when i can go in... Horrible:(

I was induced yesterday and it was not bad at all.  It's like a normal birth except the pain becomes intense pretty fast and normal labor is a lot more gradual.

Membrane sweep doesnt hurt.. i didnt want inshction but im going to be induced tomirrow.. i cannit wait longer i am too worried:( i also wanted a waterbirth as i dont want any pain relief but we will see how it goes tomorrow. Of course both of us would be happier to start labor without any "help" but i am am 41+3 today and i dont want to stress myself and wondering why isnt she coming:( good luck to you and hang in there!
