doctors appointment today!

Im 38w and 5d andvim getting my membrane sweep today. I haven't been checked if I am dilated yet so we will find that out today too im assuming. Im alittle worried because I heard it is painful and can cause bacteria infection.  Any ladies have this and how did it go? Do you think I should just not get it?

I'm due next Friday too but my Dr won't check my cervix :/ keep us updated

I know im ready to meet my baby girl. Ive been having some small contractions over  the past few hours but nothing lasting more than a minute. But my back hurts so bad.

It's uncomfortable but not painful. I got mine last Thursday and was due this Monday but nothing yet. I my next appointment tomorrow. I want to have this little girl already

Good luck!!I'm also due the 28th:) but I wasn't dilated and I got checked yesterday. I guess I'll wait till next doctors appointment what they'll say

So I went and I am 2 cm dilated and she is very low already. Got the membrane sweep and It wasn't painful, just a little uncomfortable.  I hope this moved things along.
