The one I hear all the time is you sure there's only one in there? Yes I'm sure!!!
Lol some people would probably find this offensive but I thought it was funny cuz I knew he didn't mean anything mean or bad, but my grandpa said to me the other day "u sure are pretty, even for a fat girl" lol I'm 38 weeks so I'm pretty big but he said that cuz I had my makeup all done that day lol
I've had a lot of comments because I definitely have your typical basketball belly, but my brother-in-law can't get over my "torpedo belly" and belly button lol. Also, I teach 10th grade learning support, and I've gotten some fun questions/comments from them: "Is it awkward to all the sudden have a huge belly like that?" "Do you just feel like you're going to fall forward all the time? Because I'm clumsy anyway and if my belly was like that I think if just keep falling over!" Lol they have no filter.
Yes some people have no filter. Sometimes I get sassy back, but usually I just laugh it off. One of my male co-workers said "you look bigger since the last time I saw you" which was like a few days ago lol so I responded.."you look bigger too" and he's like oh no I didn't mean to be offended. I'm just fat you have an excuse because your pregnant.
I've got "when your pregnant you look better"
"Are u carrying twins"
People always tell me how little and cute I am... I don't feel little and my belly hurts, it doesn't feel cute at all!
A mutual friend of mine thought it was a good idea to comment, "fatty haha, the only time it's safe to say this." on my Facebook when I posted my maternity pics as my default. I was pretty pissed off and let him have it. So I messaged him saying, "unless you're pregnant, you have no privilege to call anyone fat. Pregnant or not. What makes you think it's "safe"? *******!" And he apologized and said its because his friend is also pregnant and also jokes around. That's no excuse to me...
The typical 'are you sure there's only one in there?'
Then when people ask how far along I actually am I get a lot of people "oh wow you're so tiny"
Like no, no I'm not I've gained plenty.
Oh and the ever annoying "you look like yours ready to pop"
I agree with the above comment. Since I was like 7 months people kept saying oh you won't make it to your due date that babys coming soon. Well jokes on them I am 38w1d and the baby still hasn't dropped and my cervix is still thick.
