Baby Sucking Thumb

We went in for my anatomy scan yesterday and found out that we are having a girl. My husband is beside himself with excitement. My tears just welled up and I started crying during the ultrasound. I am so happy and lucky to be having a perfectly healthy little girl. The technician could not get a picture of her face (which is fine because I already know she will be the most beautiful thing I will have ever seen) because she had her face planted against my placenta and her hands up to her face. In the profile picture we could actually see her little thumb in her mouth and her little tongue moving. The tech said that is is not uncommon for babies to suck on their fingers, but it is not very common to catch them doing it during an ultrasound. She appeared to be sucking on her thumb in a previous ultrasound I had weeks ago as well. So I was just curious how many other mommas have seen their little one doing this same thing?

I just had my anatomy today and the tech was able to get a pic of my baby girl sucking her thumb, and one with her mouth open.  Funny was i had my arm on my forehead the whole time and the baby was doing the same thing as me for a long time and tech kept telling her not to copy me so she can take pic of her face.

I'm due Nov 7th? how about u ladies?
