Hungry but nothing sounds good...

Anyone else have this problem? I used to experience this before but now that I'm pregnant and need to think of more things to eat it's even more difficult. Right now all I want is sushi and Chinese food but I can't have sushi and I'm trying not to eat out because it's expensive and hubby is the only one working right now!

Yum! Do they add sugar to those though? I'm trying to stay away from anything with refined or artificial sweetener. Not salt though, low blood pressure so loading up on that and liquids. (Yum... pickles!) My favorite kind of salad is with lettuce, chopped up avocado and apples, a little shredded cheese, and Ken's steakhouse creamy Caesar dressing (which is delicious and also has anchovies which are supposed to be good for first trimester!) And now I can add chicken! Sorry about my food rant, pregnancy has made me so passionate about food... especially when I know it's so good for me and my little bean! Lol

ITA that's a good idea!  I cook chicken and added to my salads too.  I like to skillet them with a little olive oil and lemon pepper,  yum!

That's not a bad idea having hubby decide... I feel like I make a lot of the decisions sometimes, too, so it can be tiring. I think it kinda made me depressed when I found out that we shouldn't be eating lunchmeat. I was making salads almost everyday up until about 4 weeks with lunchmeat turkey and I looked up that particular meat and found out it's bad for you too! So the whole time I thought we were eating these healthy salads it turns out I was putting toxic crap on top of them. And I wasn't even supposed to be eating lunchmeat in the first place! Sorry, needed to vent! Anyway, I have some chicken thawing right now so plan on chopping and cooking that up later for salads... that should make things a bit easier.

I don't have this problem!  Have you asked hubby what he wants to eat.  My boyfriend has been deciding our meals lately and I've enjoyed them a lot!  I didn't know that it was exactly what I was craving.  All 3 times I was like.. That doesn't sound good at all!  Once I took a bite, I ate almost the whole thing!  Chicken in broccoli w/rice.  Easy pot roast w/ stuffing.  Nacho night! Last night we had a nice big ceaser chicken salad! All yummy!

Eating has become such a chore! The only things that sound good are fruit and carbs. I used to love everything!

I've gained about 3 lbs. I'm not eating a whole lot I'm just sleeping all day. Literally eating and going to bed. So I try to talk walks during the day but sometimes that's a struggle too. Overall I'm enjoying being Preggy

Yes eating healthy is the other struggle. Been doing pretty good though. Only gained a few pounds so far... how are you doing on weight gain?

I understand how you feel. Some days I go hours without eating because I don't know what I want, then I get nauseated because I'm hungry. I try to keep healthy snacks near by.
