Are you planning on going back to work after the baby is born? I'm due nov. 3 (31 weeks) and my last day of work is oct. 23. I'm going back to work after 12 weeks so I'm trying to work pretty close to my due date so I can spent as much time with my baby. Although it's getting more and more difficult to work the further I get along.
Do what makes you happy/comfortable.
I'm also due on Nov 7 but i left work at the end of Feb when i found out i was 3-4 weeks pregnant so I can enjoy my pregnancy. I'm glad i did that b/c i got plenty of rest and been living in a very comfortable life especially I kept waking up every two hours to eat/pee.
My husband told me to be a stay home mom after the baby is born so I'm not sure what my plan for that yet.
It is not recommended to work past 36w and some employers request a dr certificate to say you are fit for work! But this all depends on your form of work..
For me I am due 18th November and finishing up work first week of October, I work in childcare and already I have tripped on toys, hit by children, jumped on and had them run into me. So I do not want to put myself at risk!
But it is entirely up to you..
Its pretty hard to keep up at work just because am on my feet for 6 hrs. And 30min break in between. I was going go back to class in spring so just thinking abt going back to work in summer depending on how everthing goes. Or finding a better job ..
Everyday i just wanna but my notice in but i need the money so i stick it up..
I'm planning on working right up until the end. I don't get paid leave, and have to use my sick days. I'm putting my estimated leave date as my due date, but letting my employer know that if baby comes late, I don't want to stop working! I want to work until he comes so I can spend my days off with him.
I'm going on maternity leave when my due date hits. I need as much PTO and would love my time off being spent with my baby girl.
Due Nov 9 and going off at 36 weeks Oct 12
