Health and your baby are more important than money. Do what makes you comfortable. I left my job at 3 weeks when I got positive hpt. I'm glad I did bc it was so hard on my body.

If you can afford to stay home and that is what you feel more comfortable doing then that is a good decision. I am going to work as long as I can and save up as much money as I can so I can afford to stay home longer after our little one is born. Good luck!

Don't feel like a bother to anyone! You have rights! With a doctors note you can even go on light duty etc... which would be better / less stressful than being out of a job right? I know a lot of employers will make folks feel like they shouldn't ask for anything and just be greatful they have a job... but honestly they hired and kept you on because you're awesome. Its not going to hurt them to be a little understanding AND they cannot discriminate you based on pregnancy

If it is going to keep you and baby healthy who cares if they are bothered by it they have to accommodate you because your pregnant quitting your job now what are you gonna do after the baby gets here for work?

I also work six to eight hours six days a week on my feet and I'm 18 weeks. I haven't had any issues yet but you can get a drs note for either more regular breaks to sit down or a chair of some kind. If you have that they have to provide it.
