I keep hurting myself!

Ugh- I keep pulling the ligaments in my lower abdomen and it's driving me crazy, not to mention it hurts. I just keep forgetting that I need to move more carefully. So what are some things you guys are doing to help yourselves not hurt yourself?

I've decided I need to put a stepstool next to my bed because my bed is tall and I'm short. That might help getting in and out of bed.

I think it's one of things that is hard to avoid doing! Not to mention our ligaments are stretching and pulling enough as it is, the further along we get. We just have to be aware, at all times, what we are doing. I am having such a hard time with that. I was used to doing things myself, moving heavy things, lifting cases of water when I go shopping etc., now I have to tell hubby to do those things and it gets frustrating! I always feel like I'm bugging him. But I was having awful ligament stretching, and I had to take it to easy. I was out gardening today a bit, and it's hard to bend over like that. The most important thing for me to remember is turning too fast and or getting up too fast. That can really hurt!!

Pregnancy is fun isn't it? NOT

I had spotting after treadmill so can't do that, only "normal" walking

I find it mind numbing to not be able to haul things around like i used to - furniture, blocks etc..... now I have to wait for my husband, I had some pulling or something while carrying around a hand shopping card, my preg friend says we're not supposed to carry more than a big jug of milk??? how is that practical?!?

I also have to be careful getting up of the couch, otherwise I'm hunched over trying to recover from the "pulling" sensation.
