J_MO...I would just drink whatever you think you can keep down at this point. That's what I am doing. I can drink plain water sometimes, and then sometimes with a lemon or a lime. But mostly, I stick to watered down iced tea, or juice or gatorade.
Hopefully soon, most of us will be feeling better and not be so nauseous!!
Tivey....thank you! I am so excited to be able to see my little bean! I will be almost 12 weeks by then...so I hope to see a lot!! =) As of right now, my due date is Oct. 9. we'll see if it changes or not after the u/s.

Nini...you may be able to hear the heartbeat then! That would be so exciting. I started out renting a doppler with my son and ended up buying it because it really helped to calm my fears of another m/c. I have been using it with this pregnancy and so far I have been able to hear the heartbeat since 8wks! I was so thankful for that. But sometimes it still makes you worry because you can't always find it right away and our little babies have a way of hiding really well and make it harder to find! =) But once you get further along, the easier it will be.
brandy..I am so sorry you are feeling so yucky! I really hope you are able to eat more foods soon and not get those migraines. =( Hang in there!!

We had an eventful end of the week last week. On Wed I started throwing up everything I ate and eventually could hold down saltines, french bread, and orange gatorade. By Thur I developed a horrible migraine, called dr office they said that I needed a Demerol and Phenigrin shot, but there wasn't one in the office so I would have to go to ER. So my Dh cooked my kids supper and we finally went. I got there at 8:50pm there was hardly anyone there. I was taken back to triage quickly and sent to the waiting room. After 2 hrs. and feeling like I was about to just rip the side of my head off from the pain. I called my Dr to see what she recommended. I ended up just walking out and going home. I threw up when I got home and immediately decided to take some Phenigrin and Darvocet. I grabbed an ice pack stuck it under my chin and went to bed. I then called the Dr in the morning and they did have a shot and I went in at 10:30am and got it and it finally got rid of the headache. I am still really limited on what I can eat.
Chicken if barely seasoned, rice, potatoes, some pasta. The funny thing is I started craving brocolli. I absolutely can not do anything with sugar, I will throw it up. They say the more pregancy you have the harder it is on the body. I guess they are right.

I have my next u/s at 12 weeks but will go to my dr on the 23rd for another visit. She said she may be able to hear the heartbeart on the doppler. I actually just rented a fetal doppler from heartones. It should come Monday. I'm pretty excited and hope I can figure out how to use it. Mostly I rented it to calm my fears. I swear I'm the queen of worrying :) I do get nausua through out the day but have not thrown up. YEA! I am so glad I found this site. Everyone is so nice and quick to answer posts. It's been such a blessing because my bf and I are waiting to tell our families (had a m/c in Jan) so I feel alittle alone right now.
had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks 2 days (yesterday) baby is healthy with a heartbeat at 164! wow i have a lot of food aversions but just yesterday i ate 6 blueberry parfaits from McDonald's they were awesome!!

Isn't is funny how your food changes. Last week I was mad for red meat and now cannot look at it. This week is chicken. I used to be a great crisps fan esp salt and vinegar and now they taste like cardboard. I decide on something and then just as quick don't want it. I decided on an omlette last Sunday out with friends and took one bite and then had to order eggs benedict instead! Such a waste but if it doesn't taste ncie forget it.
Chantal - good luck with your scan - you will have loads to see by the time you go. V exciting! Congrats on having your boy too I will be straight back on it as soon as I have this one god willing - times flying! :)

Well I had quite an eventful Sunday. I got really constipated and thought I was going to die. I was still hurting on Monday and left work because of it. I am much better now. I even went about and hour yesterday with no nausea. I don't like anything to drink for some reason. The only drink that tastes good to me is black coffee. I remember going through this with Gavin. Right now I am feeling really yucky! Any advice on something I can drink?
yeah im the same way..i wanted chocolate chip cookies (pilsbury) sooooo bad last night so my husband made them..i even made him pick out all the chocolate chips out of 2 of them just so it was the dough..i ate one and was like nevermind!
lol...I wanted Salt n Vinegar chips up until last week. I was eating them almost everyday! I couldn't get enough! lol. Now I am very picky with what I eat! It's frustrating sometimes not being to eat whatever I want. It's all worth it though! =)
hehe i got one of those medium bags from the gas station and ate them within a couple of minutes! So we had to go to the grocery store to buy the big bag. Im hanging out with my husband at his work right now (owns his own business) and i cant quit thinking about those dang chips in our pantry!
hey everyone! my back pain has finally stopped! Thank God! I go back to the doc on the 19th for another u/s. I will be 10 weeks on thurs. i am so happy ive almost made it through the 1st trimester! My cravings within this week is pickles and salt and vinegar chips..haha. My sister gets to go to the doc the first week of april to find out what she is having. im super excited about that!
That's great news! Congrats on seeing your little bean! I go for my u/s on the 25th. I am 9w4d today and after having 2 miscarriages I am anxious to see this little baby. I was blessed with a healthy baby boy last April (I can't believe he is almost 1!!) And I hope to hold this little one in Oct.!

Well I am 7 weeks today and had my frst scan last Saturday. It was amazing experience and we saw a heartbeat at 116bpm which the doctor said was good.
There wasn't much to see off course but it was great all the same. They thought it might be twins because my HCG levels were high but the doctor said it was one strong one so we are just delighted whatever! Still early days but after seeing the heartbeat has given us real hope

Hmmm..not too much new here. My new craving has been avacados with lemon or lime on it. Oh so good! My mom just came over and just ran out to get me some! How nice of her. lol. =)
