Maternity Clothes

So this morning I woke up so bloated I couldn't comfortably wear my regular jeans. I had to break out my maternity jeans! I'm less than 6 weeks!!! Please tell me I'm not the only one. I feel ridiculous donning them so early. Though I lost weight and inches before getting pregnant I am coming into this at 177 lbs (I don't know how to convert it for those of you who don't use lbs for weight). It is just to the point I cannot suck in my stomach anymore without it hurting. Plus, this is my fifth pregnancy so it stands to reason I'd blow up like a blimp pretty quick.

At least my belly looks cute and round, though. It's not like you have to guess if I'm overweight or pregnant, thankfully!!!

I've been using the rubber band trick that Kellyjo mentioned for a couple weeks (I'm 8 weeks today). It really works, you'd be surprised. I had to get some new clothes this weekend because I'm starting a new job that requires work casual clothing. I had lost 7 pounds and 14.5 inches over the last 8 months and was down to wearing size 5/6. Even though I've lost 3 more pounds since I've found out that I was pregnant, I had to buy size 9/10 pants. I wanted them a little loose, so I can wear them for a few months but still, 2 sizes?! Thats crazy. I never thought I'd show so soon. I don't think any one else can tell but I sure can. For right now, I don't really feel pregnant, just fat.  ;-)

Well I have a feeling that when I put on my regular clothes tomorrow things are not going to fit quite right.  My belly feels huge today and I am not even 6 weeks yet either.  They say you show faster the more times you are pregnant.  This is my 3rd pregnancy.

I got a great idea for those of you that don't have any maternity pants. I saw something on a website that you can find a rubber band. Put it around your button and into the first loop on the other side and conncet it to the botton again. It works for me since I have no maternity cloth yet. And all you gotta do is get a long shirt to cover the rubber band. It's a great way to save money. I can't zip my jeans either anymore and it feels uncomfortable if I try. Might go today to look at some long shirts since I don't really have any. Gonna do the rubber band thing till my belly really grows.

I don't have any maternity clothes.  My jeans are getting very snug.  Thankfully I've lost some weight so it's not unbearable at the moment.  I do have a couple that I just can't wear b/c when I do I get cramps and it just hurts.  Other than that...I stay in my sweats and pjs unless we go out somewhere....I have a feeling I'll be getting some too.  I started the pregnancy at 160 and every says...you don't look it.  I'm down to 155.  We'll see how it goes I guess.

awww! I have a pair of jeans (my fav.!!) and they are starting to get snug. I remember with Jeremiah this didn't happen until around 14-16 weeks. I guess the more times you are pregnant, the faster your belly grows! I do have a pair though that are stretchy and they fit great and they will stretch for some time yet! =) But lately, I am just wearing sweats and being lazy. lol. I'm sure I'll be breaking out the maternity stuff soon!! =) I do have a little pouch now...and can barely suck it in anymore!!
