another ultrasound!

well i had another u.s. today to check my fluid levels, and everything looked good this time which is a huge relief.  i feel like i have had so many u.s's that its ridiculous!!  i've had 6 so far and am sched for atleast 2 more!!  has anyone else had this many ultrasounds for 1 medical reason or another?  it was exciting at first to see him and see how he is growing, but now it seems that so many us's can not be healthy for him.  plus there is so little room in there now that it is hard to make out what we're looking at!!  so that takes away from the excitment too.  i know there is not any documented effects of ultrasound exposure to babies, but there isn't really anything saying that it is completly safe either.

I cant even tell you how many US I have had!!  I work at a hospital so every couple of weeks for a while I would just go and get one to look at him!!  And he is just fine!!

I have to have an ultrasound every week because I am having twins. Trust me, your baby is fine! I have about 20 pictures of babies. Your baby is okay.

I haven't had that many. But I know people who have and their babies were perfectly safe and fine. Ultrasonic waves are not radiation and they are actually sound waves that we cannot hear with human ears. So I highly doubt it is affecting your sweet baby!
