6 Month Check up

How did your baby 6 month check up go?

MJ had his 6 month check up on yesterday.  He is 15lbs and 7 oz.  He is almost 25in.  I think my baby is gonna be a shorty.  LOL

Briana's 6 month check up went good. She is 19lbs. and 27 1/2 in. She is currently eating just about everything I give her. She love bananas, carrots and everything else that can fit in her mouth. She already has her first tooth. I still breastfeed her and now she takes a bottle. She is rolling all over the floor. She rolls to get to her destination. She is also sitting up, but sometimes loses her balance and falls over. She loves daddy to bounce her and gets mad when he stops. When she is tired she only wants to be with me and screams if someone else holds her. She hates my sister-n-law and everytime she see's her she cries. Briana started sleeping through most of the night, but lately has been waking up every 2 hours to be fed.

Well, it's good to see that everyone's baby is doing good and growing healthy.

Took Navy to her 6 month appointment today. She is 16 lbs 2 ozs and 25 3/4 inches tall. So petite but probably going to be taller than me. Daddy is 6'3 so I'm still hoping shell be tall. She can sit up, roll both ways and wiggle across the room. She's started to kinda rock on her knees but not often. She can also stand up if she holds one hand. I have a feeling she might skip crawling and walk instead. Her dad walked at 9 months so we'll see. She is also reaching for everything and drooling all the time but no teeth. I stared her on solids last week and so far its just cereal and fruits.

Hi Ladies,
Melissa had her check up yesterday, she weighs 15 lbs 10 oz and is 26 in long. I think she is going to be petitie like her mommy even though dad is 6 feet.
She loves to eat! She is eating just about everything cereal, fruits and veggies. Her Dr. said that I can start giving her meats twice a week. She loves to be around people; she is a very social girl...she loves making friends. She is still not sleeping thru the night. I plan ato work on this next week since I will be taking some baby bonding time.
I do not see any signs of teeth although she is drowling all the time. I am always chaning her bibs.
Her motor skills are excellent. She sits, rolls over, reachs for everything and of course places everything in her mouth. She likes the jumper, but yesterday her Dr. said that she does not recommend it and that I should get rid of it. Have any of you ever heard that?

Well Naomi is 6 months old today she is 15 lbs 2 oz and 27 3/4 in long. She likes to sit up and wont do it unless she wants to. We tried to get pictures of her but she wouldnt have it. The past two nights she has been sleeping in her own bed and in her own room and its so cute. She likes to roll over and sort of wiggled crawled to get her star yesterday it was so cute. I am so proud of her she only cried a little when she got her shots right at the very end. I cant wait to try her on meats like the doctor said I could. She is so cute and loves to jump in her jumper. She is getting so big so fast.

Here I thought my little Peri was big lol @ Heather - Im trying to put Peri in her bed/room too but she's not having it. As soon as I lay her down she wakes up and screams. @ Freshlove...20lbs?? WOW you have a big boy. :D  & he has a tooth.

Gabriel had his 6 month yesterday. He weighs 20lbs 1ounce and is 28 inches long (2 feet 3in)! He can sit up by himself but has to "tripod" most of the time, he's also rolling over, reaching for stuff and able to grab toys and bring to mouth. He also pivots himself in a circle during tummy time and does this little army crawl thing it's so cute! But he hasn't quite figured out how to actually move himself besides in a circle,  lol.

Oh, and he got his first tooth on my birthday! (March, 21st). He has been eating cereal since about 4 1/2 months and started a veggie each week at 5 months and is doing great. I think in a couple of weeks we will try some fruits!

Naomi has her 6 month friday so i will tell you more then i cant wait to see how much she has grown

Brady just turned 5 months and is 18lbs!! He's a monster baby! LOL He's not fat either!! He's just a solid tall baby!!
He's been rolling over and now we are practicing sitting up but cannot do it yet. He loves the jolly  jumper and playing in his exersaucer. He's been chewing on EVERYTHING!! But I still don't see anything either.
We've done cereal since he was 4 months and the last 2 weeks I've started slowly on veggies. I'm making his food myself. I was going to hold off but he showed all signs of being ready and the doctor said it was ok and he probably needed it since he's bigger. I've been following a chart and there's only certain things you should do before 6 months. He's been doing amazing with food though. He's been sooo much better after me coming off dairy!! I have my happy laid back baby back! :)
I've started to transition him from our room to his own room....I think it's going to be slow going!! He still wakes up in the middle of the night more than he sleeps through the night. Boo on that! I just don't think my milk can cut it sometimes for this 18 pounder!!
Ooh I've also been signing with him...I only use "more", "finished" and "milk". Can't wait till he gets the hang of that!

Sooooo Peri had her 6 month appointment yesterday and shes growing like a weed. She's 17lbs 6oz and 2feet 3 in long. He head is mearsuring a little small but the dr isnt concerned. She's rolling over and reaching for stuff. She doesnt want to sleep in her bed just her sleeper. She loves playing with her big sister and also wants to nurse all the time. I got her Sophia the giraffe frm Amazon and she loves bitting the legs. :D Dr said we have a while before one comes up..we see nothing.
