cramping?

I'm exactly 8 weeks pregnant today, and I'm suddenly having cramping in my lower abdomen that feel like menstrual pains. I have only had minor cramping throughout this pregnancy, none really in the last couple of weeks, except some minor cramping about two days ago that went away. This cramping is being persistant.
I saw the baby with a HB a week ago, and baby measured right on schedule. I'm scared because I had a missed m/c with my last pregnancy, and baby measured 8w 3d. I don't have any live births, and took me a long time to concieve. Has anyone else had cramping at 8 weeks?

It just worried me at first because it felt the exact same as when I m/c last year. No bleeding though, so that's a good sign :)

Not to worry....I think you will always get the stretching here and there....your uterus gets 500 times bigger than it's normal size so ya...it's gonna cause some cramping here and there!

Thanks :) I thought it was supposed to disappear after 6 weeks. I haven't had any so far today. I just realized the baby doubles in size at 8 weeks, so maybe thats why.

Yes I've had cramping and there were a couple times I would get a little bit of backache....everything is stretching and strained so it's normal.

Oh, and was wondering if it could have just been because I had to do a lot of bending at work today..
