Finding out the sex of the baby

How many of you are finding out the sex of your baby?

I'm on the fence. I want to know but I think a surprise would be fun as well. DH wants to know for sure and I told him that maybe he could find out and not tell me or that we could have the doctor put it in an envelope and open it if we can't take it anymore. He said it would last all of about 5 minutes before I was either begging him to tell me or ripping the envelope to shreds. Haha. Probably true.

I would like to find out. This will be my first born, so I dont have too much baby stuff yet, other than the stuff friends are going to be giving me.

Heatherm4 - lol!  Yeah, or (like my DS) could just moon you, and move it's but every time you try to get a different view.  haha, it was cute, I figured if he's mooning us it had to be a boy!

hhmmm...ya I think now I'm leaning towards finding out. If we weren't meant to find out then it'll have it's legs crossed or something!! LOL

Im actually on the fence about this one. I was so eager to find out in my last pregnancy and I got bad news instead. We didnt find out the sex until delivery and it was a nice surprise. So I wanna know but I would love that surprise again. Chances are I will give in. lol

I am pretty sure we'll find out. I COULD do a surprise but the whole shopping thing would be harder. We already have tons of girls stuff so if we have another girl, she'll be set, but if it's a boy, we'll have to do some shopping. I don't know, I guess it's a surprise for long enough... finding out what you're having is so nice. You can chose names, clothes, and prepare a little better. I didn't know what my daughter was till I was 7 months!!!

Although, I admire those moms and dads who wait till the baby is born to find out! =D

If you aren't sure you can always have them "check" but put the one of the gender in an envelope for DH to know, and that way if you decide you really want to find out you can, otherwise it could be a surprise! (As long as DH can keep it from you!)   One of my friends did that,  except her mom was the one who wanted to know.  Her mom knew the entire time, but she was strong and found out once the baby was delivered.

DH wants to know but I'm the one that's iffy! I want to but I want the surprise! Ugh! LOL I still have a while until I could know so I have lots of time to think about it!

I defiantly want to know!  We tried to find out with my son but he just kept mooning us and we couldn't get a clear shot.  That and I just LOVE seeing the ultrasound of them, I'm SO excited!
