I am 21 weeks and my baby has had two soft markers for Downs, a reversal flow problem and a calcification in her chest. It's not a nice thing to hear, but they are 'soft' markers which often turn out not to be problems at all. Not saying it's 100%, but I have heard many stories of women having issues with their ultrasounds, electing to have amniocentesis tests, and end up with healthy babies. And, I just looked at the date...lol. Hope all is well.
They sound like soft markers for downs but soft is ok and often in normal babies hard are different. spots on they heart are common like calcium ect and the brain can get spots that clear up. the specialist is probably a perinatalogoist and they will walk you thru it. try not to worry. How far along are you? Did you do a NT scan around 11-14 weeks its and U/S and 5 dabs of blood to test for downs or an amino/?
