Cervix Sweep?

I am due the 18th...with no dilation yet. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to check my cervix again...if nothing is progressing can I ask for a sweep? I'll be 39 weeks Saturday.

If your cervix isnt favourable they may not be able to do a sweep and normslly they wouldnt do one until 40 weeks...dont get your hopes up.
