Personally I found walking in a pool did wonders for swelling. Or sitting my feet on cold water. It is recommended that you elevate your feet when swollen and drink lots of water to help with fluid retention.
Personally I found exercise helped with both of these issues but it depends how bad your feet are swelling, it may be too uncomfortable for you. Sudden swelling can be a symptom of preeclampsia as well so it might be worth mentioning it to your doctor. Best of luck
I had really bad swelling with my first but I've been a lot more active with this pregnancy and it has helped a lot. I am 39weeks. My chiropractor said circulation helps and ive found i have less swelling on the days i do stretches then when i dont
