5 week scan?

I had a scan on Monday to check to see if I implanted in the right spot and she thought I was only 3 to 4 weeks when my results came back and say 5 weeks. During the ultrasound she could only see a gestational sac (measured 6mm); no yolk sac. My hcg levels were 6700 as of yesterday as well.
Is it normal to only see a sac at this stage?

Just to calm everyone's nerves. I spoke with my doctor and he said it's normal not to see anything before 7 weeks. Which is why most early pregnancy scans are done around 7 to 8 weeks
As long as your hcg levels are normal it should be fine :-)

Don't stress to soon.  You could be earlier in your pregnancy then you think you are.  I am just now 5w 1d and when I went on Sunday they could only see a sac that measured 3.3mm he said it was to soon to see anything else.  I go back next Thursday for another u/s

Yes it is normal to only see the sac.  I had my done on Sunday when I went to the hospital and I was told I was just a few days shy if 5 weeks and they could only see a sac.  The tec said usually its 6 weeks before they can see anything else.  Congrats to you and hopefully everything g is progressing great for you.
