Here we go!

At the hospital now and about to start the induction process.  We never found out the gender so I'm extra super excited to meet our little one!  Cross your fingers for me that baby arrives on Monday (tomorrow) and not Tuesday or Wednesday.....

Pitocin didn't do is job either... :-(  They've turned it off, will let me have dinner, and then are going to try some other, stronger type of softening medication over night tonight. Disappointed.

Disappointed... The cervidil (sp?) didn't work. They want me to eat breakfast (a bad sign that they think this will be a long haul?) And then they'll give pitocin a few hours from now.  They said if that doesn't work, they'll try the cervidil again tonight.  :-(

Going well so far, but slow. Cervical softening meds went in about 8hrs ago. Annoying period like cramping started, but water hadn't broken yet. I did get about 4 hours of really good sleep and then snoozed for another hour or two. My hip has been bothering me so much these last two weeks and the hospital bed is terrible for it!  Wrong pressure in all the wrong spots.  So it's really too uncomfortable to get any more sleep at this point.  Within the next 3-4hrs they'll start the pitocin.  Can't wait for the epidural so this dam hip stops hurting!  Lol!
