High Risk pregnancy

My doctor decided at yesterdays apt that I needed to see a high risk doc. I was 18 weeks yesterday. Im nervous. Im not sure what to expect next week when we go. I have what they consider chronic blood pressure.  Anyone going through this or have gone through this that has any insight on what to expect? Im 35, 3rd child. I havent had a baby in 12 years.

Love the perinatal center I went to.  Doc was great. He did say he would not let me labor and that I will not be allowed to carry past 38 weeks. So moves my due date up to sept sometime.

I don't have high blood pressure but I see an high risk doctor as well. I still have regular doctor appointment but I have to have the progesterone shots due to one pre term birth and another one we almost lost to pre term birth. I love my doctors and nurses they really care about you and your baby being healthy. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't have chronic blood pressure but i am a high risk pregnancy due to a previous still birth. I see a consultant every 2 weeks and have scans every 2 week's along with normal midwife appointment's. I was also allowed to be induced at 38 week's. I'm not sure what will happen to you regarding your specific care and i should imagine you will be on medication but most likely you will see a consultant regularly. Hope this helps.good luck x
