How far along are ya? Im 15w2d, and i will let ya know i was very depressed till maybe a week ago. Crying all the time, staying in bed or on the couch and watching Grey's anatomy all day. I was also sick most of those 14 weeks and i feel like that played a huge part in it.

Please make sure you inform your doctor of your past with depression.. It is important that they know so they can watch for signs of postpartum When you give birth. I also had issues with depression it's always better to be safe than sorry

I was told that you can actually have postpartum before you even give birth, during the pregnancy. So maybe that could be why you are feeling a lil extra down. Def talk with your doctor, its on my list if i start feeling myself going that way again.

You should see a mental health counselor. Most states offer affordable ones. I am a MHC in the Boston area and there are many options out here. Your doctor should know your MH history too, but a therapist can really help you process your emotions. You can make your therapy as long or short as you need it to be. Just make sure you find someone that is a good fit for you. everyone is different and we all have unique backgrounds, so it's hard for us all to relate on here versus getting 1:1 attention. I am glad that we are able to reach out to one another though for small advice in between. This app is such a great reminder of how we are not alone going through our pregnancies!

Hang in there girly. Counselors are a great resource. If you have a college in your area, you might be able to go to the clinic where they're training students and see someone for free.
