Rib pain

Hi ladies. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and the past few days I have experienced really bad rib pain in my left hand side. It's round the back and then moves to the front. Scary because I'm thinking it's my baby laying in an awkward position but the baby won't be round my back! Has anyone experienced this themselves? Not sure whether or not to see a doctor?

I had really bad rib pain from 9 to 26 weeks. It felt like I was being stabbed at times. Apparently it's the hormone relaxin moving your organs out of the way for the baby and stretching ligaments. I found stretching would help and then lying on the side of the pain.

Having the same issue and OB says this is normal..abdominal muscles, etc... stretching to suite growing baby. Trust me, I've been to the ER twice it's nothing that can be done so save your money. If concerned call OB for peace of mind, and mention at next appointment.
