Short of breathe

I'm a ftm and I am 32 weeks. For the past few weeks I have been very short of breathe. I hear that it can be normal but I wonder to what extent. Like I can't even have normal conversations without having to catch my breathe. I'm not over weight or anything just pregnant lol but it's making me a little worried. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there anything I can do to help it??

Thanks for your feedback! I definitely feel better that it's a normal feeling. Being a ftm I get worried about everything lol but as long as the baby is healthy that's all that matters

I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and I feel the same way. Except that it usually happens when I am in bed. I sit up with 3-4 pillows and it doesnt help at all. I sleep on my sides and there has been a few times where I literally wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I am choking, its horrible.

It happens to me a lot. More often now that I'm further along (32 weeks) I don't even have to be doing anything. It happens while I'm laying down. I absolutely hate it.
It was getting so intense I asked my dr about it and she said it was normal. The increase in hormones and size and position of the baby was causing it

I agree. I can't breathe sometimes. I got shortness of breath doing my little guys laundry today. I am 31 wks 4 days and he's head down. So not only are my lungs crowded, I can feel him push his little butt up in there as well!

I think it's pretty normal I get shortness of breath just walking from one room to another. I heard/read that it happens in pregnancy a lot, our lungs are being crowded and can't inflate like they used to.
