Amniotic fluid Worries

I will be 28 weeks tomorrow and yesterday at my doctor's appointment. My doctor said that my amniotic fluid is too high. I am at 38%. Every test so far given has been good. Had to do glucose testing as well and just waiting for the results. I have an appointment on tomorrow for more testing. Should I be worried because I am.

I went yesterday to be rechecked and my fluid came up to 9.8 from 6.5. Doc said normal at 31-33 weeks was between 8-10.

I am Thankful to the Lord to say that eveything is o.k. with my baby. No issues. My amniotic fluid went down from 38% to 26%. Have to go back next week to follow up. Now just have to wait in m t v 3 hour glucose test.

At my 30 week my fluid was 6.5 which is low. I go monday at 31 to see if its even lower but hoping better. Doc wants between 8-10 to be safe. If its below 6 they will probably deliver.

Too much amniotic fluid is an indication of issues. Can be diabetes or abnormalities with the pregnancy or the baby.

I have read it can mean there are some issues with the baby because they are not taking in the amniotic fluid like they should be. But it could also be just fine. I wouldn't stress too much just because you don't want your little one to feel your stress. Wait until you hear back from your doctor, they will tell you if you need to worry or what to do to help the baby. I know it's easier said than done, but just know that everything should be just fine.
