Work stress

I'm 11w2d and I work stock at a health food store. I'm one of the head stockers and yesterday I got pulled into the office because someone said I wasn't pulling my weight and I was asking people to load my carts for me. I'm so stressed out because they threatened my job and the funny thing is that I work the most freight and I lift cases of juices and water and everything on my own. I have asked for help lifting a 45lb bucket of honey and a case of glass liters of apple cider because its very heavy. I'm feel like I'm going to be walking on eggshells my entire pregnancy. They just moved me from another area to pick up a new persons slack last week. I'm just worried about losing my job.

Well you have to work at a job for over a year to be able to take a leave of absence of 6 to 12 weeks. So finding a new job right now wouldn't be wise. And by my due date I should have about 80hr of vacation I can use. It ***** because I work Monday through Friday and I'm sure if they moved me to cashier I wouldn't get those days and if I do bring ina doctors note excusing me from lifting heavy items I'm almost positive I'll have to be a cashier.

All of these women are right. Look up your rights per your state in the internet. Get a note from your doctor. Also make sure they know that you know your rights. They legally can not make u lift over a certain amount of weight, can not fire you for not being able to lift heavy things & if I were you I would think about applying at other places. They are breaking the law & being totally insensitive & that is disgusting. Also they have to let you eat lunch & take breaks on time.

You can also get a note from your doctor stating restrictions  on what amount of weight you can lift. Legally can not do that to you, they could get into a lot of trouble.  If they fire you, it's probably gonna look like they did bc your are pragnant. They could get into trouble for that.

They can't do that it's illegal to sack you for being pregnant and they shouldn't be expecting you to lift anything more then 10 kg at this moment of your pregnancy
