Sry...i guess not everyone does. Some women opt not to get one because they rather not know if baby has any defects. I personally choose to get them done because if my baby were to have a defect, Id rather be prepared and know before baby is born.
Yes every pregnant woman should get one and I believe they do them between 11-14 weeks. Doctors normally order the test to be done at 12 weeks. Thats when I usually get mine done.
It stands for Nuchal scan. Its a prenatal screening to help identify possible chromosomal abnormalities.
