membrane sweep??

So I have 10 days until I'm due and I go to the doctor tomorrow and they want to do a sweep. My son's Bday is Thur and I don't want to go into labor that day. What are the chances of that happening? Has anyone ever had that done and went into labor within 48hrs?

I had the sweep done at 38 weeks and was still pregnant at 39 weeks. Them my dr allowed me to be induced. So for me it didn't work and only helped dilate me a half a cm more.

I had a sweep done with my first and I still went 2 weeks over due. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I am getting a sweep done on Monday also because my cervix is completely closed. Let me know how it goes! Good luck!
