My doctor couldn't find the heartbeat today with the doppler. Im 14weeks 2 days but i went to hospital straight after for a scan and everything looks great. Baby was moving around like crazy and flapping its arms everywere. So amazing, other ftm dont worry if same happens to u it doesn't always pick it up x

Mso happy everything worked out for u. Disappointed with the doc bc upon not being able to find a heartbeat via doppler they should have done an ultrasound & u shouldn't have had to go anywhere else to get that. At had my first visit at 9 weeks same thing happened bt it's common at that early stage, the doc left & immediately returned with ultrasound machine. I saw a little movement & strong heart beat.

My doc last week couldn't find the heartbeat and wanted to send me to the hospital but he was checking really low. I had a feeling the baby moved up and to the left so I said "I think he's right there" and sure enough the heartbeat registered. My office rotates doctors and I'm hoping he's not the one to deliver cause I felt more educated at my last appointment then him.

I'm happy that you and the baby are both fine. I'm sure that was very scary.
