how to tell parents?

I'm only 20, and I am trying to find ways to tell our parents. I wanna tell the rest of our family on Christmas, but I wanna tell our parents in advance. My mom is really easy going, my dad is super protective (I am nervous to tell him, even though I know he will love it.) And his parents are both super religious, and his dad is kind of hard headed. We are married and all, but I am stuck on announcing to them

The comment above I'd really good! There a commercial on TV where the wife's dad unpraps a pair of baby shoes! You could do anything baby related I think! The person who wrote the first comment had a great idea!

Have you tried looking at fun ideas on Pintrest? Give them something they can unwrap early like a Christmas ornament that says you are going to be grandparents with your due date. Or a framed picture of the first ultrasound if you've had one done.

Since you are married, I can't imagine your parents would be sad.  I think your parents (on both sides) would REALLY celebrate,  although they might feel the need to give you some financial support.   Even if your husband's parents a "super religious" as you say,  they would welcome a baby of a marriage.

Well I will know if I am or not in a week, but I am almost sure that we are. I am just trying to plan ahead in case if I truly am.

You have to actually be pregnant to tell someone you are pregnant.

I told people on mothers day that I was pregnant. I said next year I'll be celebrating too. You could always use the line the your going to be having a present coming to you in 9 months
