Just venting, my boyfriend went bowling the other night with my brother, and his other friends asked if I'd drive them so go see him since I was going anyway. I had a friend with me too and since I don't like to be confrontational I asked her to let them know not to bring any illegal substances, and that they can't smoke in the car. So she told them and they went inside to put back all their stuff (great influences right?) Then we drove to the bowling alley and I drove through a dui checkpoint, nothing happened. But when I pulled away they all started sighing with relief because they lied to me and brought drugs and a gun (without a carrying permit) in my car! I gave them valid reasons for wanting no part of those things, yet they chose to disrespect and lie to me. THEN, I told them I was taking them home because I wouldn't continue to drive around with that stuff in my car. So they had the nerve to get mad at me, and light up their cigarettes IN MY CAR out of spite. Not only my boyfriends friends, but mine too. I felt so betrayed. They put me and my unborn child at risk and then did it again to get back at me, for what? I opened all the windows, blasted the air, stopped a mile from their apartments and told them to get out. My boyfriend gave them a mouthful and promised I wouldn't have to see them again. I just can't believe this happened. Hopefully we can find new, mature friends. Sorry this was so long :s

Oh Alex.  You're doing the right thing.  If these were just your own friends,  you could kick them to the curb and never talk to them again.  

But these are your boyfriend's friends,  and you're in a very hard spot because he's picked these guys who willingly put you at risk.

Girl you have every right to be upset,  they're grown and know that you're with child so respect comes a long way!
