A lot of men just aren't good with emotions.  Grrrr.  I agree that communication is good and some men really just don't know what to do.  So, you can help him along.  I also have a few great girlfriends that I can call at any time for support and caring and that is really helpful.  If our emotions are too out of whack and changing often, I would talk to your doctor about it.  Everyone has a bit of hormonal moodiness but usually it isn't 'that' extreme to where you might be depressed.  That makes me worried about depression for you sweetie. That can get worse after you have the baby, post partum and your doctor will want to know about this to help you if it occurs.  So, just kind of watch how you feel and gage if you need to talk to your doctor if you are feeling too bad.  Good luck!!
