Pregnancy & Divorce

So my husband and I have been seperated since June (almost my entire pregnancy) and he also filed for divorce. Its's been a very messy situation and he has caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress to my pregnancy. He's made a kinds of allegations of mw cheating to me being abusive to him and our 2 yr old son. All of this really sycks because I am definitely considered "high risk pregnancy" which he knows but just simply doesn't care. Anyways I will delivering in January and was wondering if anyone knew if I had to allow him the delivery room? I just don't want the drama because its supposed to be stress free and him and his family have been just plain awful.

If you make it known that you do not want him there, they will keep him out. They don't want to risk any stress on you and baby.

You don't have to allow anyone in the delivery room that you do not want in there. Just let your nurses and doctors know. Most hospitals have a code word you can set up and if the person doesn't know it they aren't allowed in or to get any information about you or the baby. I didn't allow my sons biological father in the delivery room either. Just make sure you let them know as soon as you get there and in your room. Good luck!
