realationships between half siblings

My partner has a daughter from previous relationship… the mother refuses all contact between them but we now expecting our first child together in only 9weeks… now the mother is fuly aware of my pregnancy as my partner sends letters, prezzies etc on a monthy basis to try and get a respone from his daughter! ive sent a letter myself to the mother to ask for some sort of contact between my child and hers as i think its important for both children but she told me to f*** off! do you think the courts will find it in best intest of both children to have a meaningful realtinship with each other?? i dont want my stepdaughter to miss out! My daughter and my step daughter had a meaningful realtionship for 5years before being taken from each other as they only steps… i dont want my stepdaughter to resent both my daughter abd her half sister because they will live together !! i tried to be civil for the sake but her mother wont allow it! HELP ps im from UK
