sooo... i had my 39 week checkup today, and i was hoping for better news considering my doc told me last week that i could go into labour at any time. he said things look great, baby is ready...but my cervix needs to soften. booooo
he also said that if i dont go into labour before monday... then i go see him again on tuesday, and we set a date to induce. my due date is wednesday next week... and he doesnt want me to go too far over that because with my first child i was 10 days over due... and she was 9lbs 1 oz, so he said he wants to take it easy on me.... lol . what a guy!

You will be fine i am sure... you are in capable hands... As for me they will see me on the 23rd sep if no labour yet they will consider s-section! the consultant said because the baby measured just over 4kg at 37 weeks inducing me after my due date can be a risk as the shoulders ay get stuck! im hopping i go to labour before the 23!

wow i'm so excited for you! don't worry i'm sure your doctor has the best intentions in mind but i DO hope you go into labor naturally. induction i hear hurts like heck! that was the plan for me but i actually went into labor the night i was supposed to be induced. they hooked me up to the machine and noticed i was having contractions so they never did anything but let me lay there in labor. i hope all goes smoothly and let me know how you do! good luck!!!!

well at lest you know you havent much longer left i have a doctors app on monday it is to check that i can be induced on friday but i dont know if i have even dilated yet he dose not want me to go ever my due date becouse my last daughter was 10lb on her due date and this one was messuring simmularat 34 weeks so maybe next week we will have our babies and then everyone on the sept list will know what they are having
